GWM Celebrates 18 years in South Africa with dynamic showcase at the 2025 Festival of Motoring

Johannesburg, South Africa – 20 August 2025: GWM is proud to mark a major milestone this year as it celebrates 18 years of growth and innovation in South Africa with a powerful presence at the 2025 Festival of Motoring.
Since arriving in 2007, GWM has become a trusted name for South African drivers by offering vehicles that combine performance, style and value. This year’s Festival of Motoring will once again demonstrate the brands commitment to customers through an immersive, hands-on showcase at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
GWM will activate across three key zones. In the main pits, visitors will be able to view a selection of vehicles, engage directly with the brand on and off the track. At the dedicated 4x4 stand, the P-Series and TANK models will showcase their capability and performance in true off-road conditions. The self-drive area will allow enthusiasts to get behind the wheel of the latest models GWM has on offer, including NEV models and the newly launched Haval H6 GT PHEV.
Over the past 18 years GWM has built a reputation for reliability, versatility and innovation. The brand has grown alongside South African motorists, from urban professionals looking for sleek SUVs to farmers, adventurers and families who demand toughness and comfort in equal measure.
